The history of Cosmos Machinery Enterprises Limited dates back to 1958 when it commenced trading in China-made machine tools. After more than half a century of continuous growth, Cosmos' business has diversified rapidly and now covers machinery manufacturing, plastic products processing and manufactuing and industrial consumables trading. The public listing of Cosmos on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited in 1988 also marked a significant milestone in the group's rapid development.

CLARIFICATION STATEMENT
It has come to the Company’s attention that Welltec Industrial Equipment Limited（華大機械設備有限公司）has made an unauthorized use of the registered office address and business address of the Company (the “Address”) to enter into a legally binding contract with its client.
We solemnly clarify that
- the Company and any of its subsidiaries or affiliated companies have no any relationships with the abovementioned company; and disclaim any liability whatsoever for any loss howsoever arising from any contracts entered into by the abovementioned company; and
- the Address of the Company is solely used for the business operation of the Company and its subsidiaries, and is not associated with the abovementioned company.
The Company are deeply concerned about this matter and reserve all rights to pursue legal action to protect the Company’s rights and uphold the reputation.
